This book focuses on the impact that the process of migration has had on women''s sexuality and gender roles. Life narratives of the women interviewed are presented against the backdrop of the historical and social context of migration. European, Latin America, Caribbean and Asian women, aging from early twenties to mid seventies, discuss the development of their sexuality in the context of their home culture and the acculturation process demanded by their migration.
